There are a ton of other interesting items from other premier athletes (Jesse Owens spiky jumping shoe from 1936 — a design that led to the first Adidas, Carl Lewis’ shoes from the 1984 Olympics in L.A., etc.). Most of these items has a mini documentary that plays to give you the background on that athlete’s life. Then, there were the general exhibits categorized by sport. It was fascinating!

This high-tech museum is surrounded by a beautiful park. The park has a lot of neat sculptures related to athletics.

After we left the Olympic Museum and Park, we headed to dinner and had beef-filled crepes.
I highly recommend a visit to the colorful city of Lausanne. Definitely be sure to check out the Olympic Museum!
